APT appoints CFO

27 March 2020 – Applied Petroleum Technology (APT) has hired Carl Peter Berg as the company’s new chief financial officer (CFO).

Berg joins APT from the position as legal representative for Agility Fuel Solutions in Brazil. Prior to this he held the role as CFO for the Brazilian operation of shipbuilding group VARD. Berg has also spent nine years as CFO the exploration and production company Panoro Energy’s Brazilian operation.

“Carl Peter is a highly experienced senior executive and finance professional, with extensive experience from the oil and gas and shipbuilding industries. He will be a key asset for APT going forward,” says Helge Nyrønning, CEO of APT.

APT provides geochemical and biostratigraphic laboratory services, basin modelling and petroleum systems analysis to operators worldwide. The company is headquartered in Oslo, Norway, and has additional offices in the UK, USA and Canada.
